Why this exists
Almost everything useful about an emergency lives online. Not having it at the moment you need it can make all the difference.

Why we built it
We’re an ordinary household in the SF Bay Area. In one year our power was cut eight times because of fire risk. It was a pain.
We had the flashlights and the water jugs. Then we sat down to get serious about fire preparation, went online to read up, and online wasn’t there. That’s when it landed: the information you need most is the information you can’t reach.
So we went looking for a pack like the one we wanted. Nobody sold one. We scoured the best sources ourselves, sorted them, and put them in order, which took a lot longer than it should have. Now we’re selling it so you don’t lose a weekend doing what we did.
